Well the inital release of the iPad 2 in America seems to have gone very well with an expected unit sale of over half a million units. The initial iPad kick started the tablet market again and mamanged to convince a number of competitors to release their own tablet products. Although many fans of the Android based tablet devices spurn their apparent superiority to Apple’s offerings, in truth, none have managed to capture the market as well as the iPad. As is typical in the technical field it is generally better to be an inovater and not an imitator with first to market technologies. More will be revealed between now and the March 25th iPad 2 Australian release.
